Dover Castle Reward trip April 2016

On the 12th April, children from the primary classes went to Dover Castle for the day. Three children were chosen from each class for a range of different reasons such as progress, behaviour, and positive attitude to work and school. At the castle, the group had a chance to visit the Underground Hospital, an underground space that was converted into a hospital for injured troops in 1941. The children were able to experience the sounds, smells and atmosphere of the World War II hospital with its operating theatre.  All the children had a fantastic day and are working towards the next reward trip.

"It was amazing, I enjoyed the war hospital tunnels" Kieran

"It was brilliant, super-awesome, I enjoyed going up in the tower!" Jack
