ST. ANTHONY’S PTFA – Parents, Teachers & Friends Association

We all want our children to have the most positive learning experience while they are at St Anthony’s School. With this in mind we have been thinking about a new project that will benefit children, their families and the school community, but we need your help to do this.

We want to establish a group of people who would like to be involved in organising fun activities and social events to both raise funds for the school and develop a greater sense of the school as a community.

This is a project where everyone can join in and help. We need people with a wide range of skills – all offers of help are welcome, no matter how large or small. For instance, you may be great at organising events, brilliant at selling raffle tickets or making cakes, or just be happy to help by being part of a team. We are sure there is something every single one of us can do - every offer of help will be valued and will help us achieve our goal.

As well as being of benefit to and raising funds for the school, a PTFA will give you the opportunity to meet other families and help you get to know more about our school and how it works. Volunteering/joining in will give you the opportunity to put existing skills to good use and learn new ones – all the time making a difference to your child’s time at school.

We want to hear your views, so please complete and return the slip attached so we can gauge how many people would want to contribute to our school to make it an even better place to be. Please sign up and help even if you haven’t done anything like this before, your idea could be the great one that gets us started.

“Be there at the beginning and help make it happen.”
